How do I keep my cookies fresh?Gluten free cookies are highly sensitive to the elements. To help you keep them yummy for days, in case you are observing self control and didn't eat them all at once, I will give you a few tips. - Keep the cookies in their individual packages until you are ready to consume. This keeps the moisture locked in for freshness. - Place cookies in a zip lock bag or plastic container. When they are kept air tight, they will keep their mositure longer keeping your cookie nice and moist.
-
How do I store my cake?- If you ordered a cake that doesn't require refrigeration, such as a cake with buttercream, I recommend NOT putting it in the refrigerator. This will help prevent the cake from drying out. However, if where the cake is being stored is extremely warm, then refrigeration will be best to keep it from collapsing. - Prior to placing cake back in it's storeage container and or in the refrigerator, ensure that you take a piece of plastic wrap and put it in the space where the cake has had a piece cut and removed. This will help ensure the inside of the cake doesn't dry out, keeping it moist longer. - Cakes that have been refrigerated, I recommend pulling it out and allowing the cake to come to room temperature prior to serving the cake. This will allow the buttercream to soften and give a better flavor to the cake.
